Otoplasty, or ear surgery, is a simple and effective procedure to correct protruding ears. It is designed to change the shape and contour of the ears so that they can be repositioned closer to the head, and add a more aesthetic appeal to the facial appearance. In children, this procedure may be performed at five years of age, when the ears have completely formed.
